Patch: Team Build

The "Team Build" Patch enables multiplayer building in MachineCraft with up to 5 players.

Warning

This patch is in BETA, please back up your machines, as unexpected issues may occur.

Enabling

In the OPTION menu, select the MPatcher panel, and enable "TeamBuild (BETA)"

Setup: Joining a room

Open any a machine in build mode, preferably a blank machine.

On the left panel, open the "TEAM" menu.

Select the region where the room you want to join is, and press the connect button.

If the room has a password (marked by [PWD]), enter the password.

Press the room to join it. If the password is incorrect, joining will fail.

Setup: Hosting

Open the machine you would like to edit in BUILD mode.

On the left panel, open the "TEAM" menu. (see screenshot above)

Select the region you would like to host in, and press the connect button.

Enter a name for your room, and optionally, a password.

Press the HOST button to start your room. Players will be able to join your room now.

Frequently asked questions:

• What happens if two players try to edit the same block?

One of the players will be kicked out of the setup menu

• What gets sent to other players?

Blocks you place, and ASSIGN data. Stamps, machine settings, and other settings currently do not apply to other players.

• Can I go into TEST mode?

Yes.
